Community Clean Up

Several members of the YEC noticed early on this year that there has been a great deal of trash around our town and decided that something needed to be done about it.

The YEC began work with Keep Casper Beautiful and decided that the area around the Westside Wal-Mart served as a good starting location. The YEC also worked with Youth Diversion to increase involvement. The youth organized the activity and saw it to fruition.
Weather proved to be a limiting factor in attendance. Due to heavy snow the event had to be postponed a week ,BUT they got it done!
After cancelations, we had 6 shining faces show up to get the job done! They picked up trash on CY from the Wolf Creek turn off all the way to to Wyoming Blvd. We owe a huge thank you to the Youth Diversion, Youth Empowerment Councel, and the Keep Casper Beautiful crew. Great Job guys!
