Zombie Ball 2009

The Youth Empowerment Council put on the Zombie Ball for Jr. High and High school students on Thursday October 29th. The concert was held at gigs in Mills. It was free to those who dared to dress like a zombie and $5 for all others. The bands that played were 10th and Main and Nasty Nate Band. Members of the YEC participated in decorating and other duties for the event. Free food was provided by the YEC and there was also a hot dog and hamburger eating contest during the intermission. This was YEC Coordinator Shane Ragers last event with the kids which made it very memorable. There was more than 50 in attendance which made for a fun evening with zombies dancing to great music.
