Youth Empowerment Council (YEC)
For youth in grades 6–12
The Youth Empowerment Council (Y.E.C.) is a substance-free, responsible, open group of young leaders who collaborate to better the community, support one another, inspire youth, grow and lead by example—for youth, by youth.
Our Subcommittees
Pro Social
Pro Social is a group of youth who volunteer for community agency events such as 5K walks/runs, fundraising events, donations drives, and more.
#WYAmplify
This group helps youth to find what truly excites them: outdoor activities, sports, arts, music, science, literature, or something else! We provide substance-free activities that allow youth to explore new interests and find ways to spend time that they enjoy.
S.P.A.T. (Suicide Prevention Awareness Team)
The Suicide Prevention Awareness Team is a group of youth volunteers who spread awareness by educating their peers on the warning signs, risk factors, and protective factors associated with suicide. S.P.A.T. also serves county-wide with the Natrona County Suicide Prevention Task Force.
